Important Facts and Research Report about Phentermine Weight Loss Pill

Phentermine is an amphetamine-like stimulant that accelerates the weight loss process by suppressing appetite. The prescription drug which has been used by many individuals provides users great weight loss results within a short period of time. Phentermine works by interfering with the brain function, inhibiting the hunger hormones from sending information to the brain leading to reduced food (calorie) intake.

Dosage

One pill (or the recommended dose) should be taken early in the morning before breakfast. Avoid taking phentermine in the evening since it can interfere with your sleeping pattern by causing sleeplessness.

Precautions When Taking Phentermine

Phentermine is a drug with both positive and negative effects hence users are required to exercise caution when taking it. You shouldn’t take this slimming pill if:

  • You have pulmonary hypertension or high blood pressure

  • You are or were an alcoholic or a drug abuser
  • You are allergic or sensitive to cold medications, diet pills, stimulants, and amphetamines.
  • You have an overactive thyroid.

Recent Study about Phentermine

There has been a lot of research about phentermine of late. A recent study about phentermine was conducted with an aim to test its safety and effectiveness among patients. From the results, this prescription drug uses its appetite suppressant feature to create a calorie deficit in the body leading to weight loss. It’s advised that patients should only use this drug for a short period of time i.e. 12 weeks or less. They can also use it intermittently in order to avoid addiction.

The recent study about phentermine also indicates that some users ended up experiencing side effects such as:

  • Dizziness and Anxiety

  • Dry Mouth
  • Indigestion and Constipation
  • Insomnia and Sleeplessness
  • Skin rashes, sweating and mood changes

However, the recent study about phentermine shows that these side effects are usually mild, occasional and disappear after a few days.

Serious Phentermine Reactions

This diet pill is recommended for use for only a short period of time because it can be addictive and cause serious side effects such as:

  • Psychological and physical overdependence. This is where the user fully depends on this drug to maintain their long-term weight loss goals and to improve their mental function.
  • It might lead to episodes of psychosis
  • Heart diseases such as the multi-valvular heart disease which involves the heart valves.

Patient Education Regarding Phentermine

As a patient taking phentermine, you should be aware that:

  • Taking this medication late in the evening or at night will lead to insomnia.
  • The weight loss effects get more amplified if you adhere to a low-calorie diet.
  • In case of irregular heartbeat i.e. fast or slow pounding of the heart, quickly notify your physician.
  • Avoid any kind of task that requires motor skills or mental alertness until phentermine’s response has been established.

TruVision Weight Loss Regimen – Promote a Healthy Lifestyle

To have your body processes run smoothly, reduce sickness, and maintain stellar mental and physical health, choosing a healthy lifestyle is critical. A healthy lifestyle comes with a plethora benefits, most of which you probably already know. And, of course, a healthy lifestyle involves making the right food choices and engaging in regular physical activity.

However, sometimes due to understandable reasons, you could be unable to keep up with your wellness goals. Perhaps the kind of work you do isn’t allowing you enough time to work out, or perhaps you just had a newborn, or maybe you moved cities or schools which had your exercise regimen and diet disrupted. All these reasons, among many others can stand between you and healthy living. For this reason, nowadays, many companies producing a variety of products claiming to help individuals struggling to lead a healthy lifestyle have set up shop. TruVision weight loss offers those products.

While many of the products give a lot of promises on how they help individuals to stay healthy, most of them don’t fulfill the promises. For instance, the weight loss category has seen numerous solutions claiming this and that, and many have turned out to be real scams. However, there are still legit weight loss solutions that have proven to offer real solutions. One of such is TruVision Weight Loss regimen that’s seeing a lot of traction among the public. Here is what you need to know about this weight loss program;

The TruVision Weight Loss Regimen

The TruVision Weight Loss plan is a weight management program designed by TruVision Company Limited which uses approved natural ingredients to help individuals lose and manage their weight. The weight loss plan comprises truFix pills (blue) and truControl pills (orange). These pills are not diet pills; rather, they have a special formula that works to help individuals shed off weight without affecting the body. The plan was founded by four wellness practitioners with years of experience in the weight loss industry.

TruVision Weight Loss plan doesn’t disrupt your normal daily activities, and unlike many similar products, the regimen prioritizes the user’s health. The pills have been made with carefully selected natural ingredients which have been used from time immemorial to cure various health conditions.

Again, Truvision has come up with a variety of other solutions to help people in various other ways. These solutions include;

• TruMed which is a balm that gets rid of skin itching, irritation and soothes the skin
• TruWeight and Energy which minimizes hunger pangs while maximizing energy productions
• MSM Power that improves joint health and improves collagen formation
• TruDefense has a combination of rosemary, cinnamon, among other ingredients and helps fight off viruses
• ReNew Capsules detoxifies the body, and;
• Grapefruit improves metabolism rates and brain functions.

A review of the TruVision Weight Loss Program

As noted, the program combines two pills; truControl and truFix pills, and all ingredients used in making the pills are purely natural. Visit https://www.truvisionhealth.com/ to learn more about the ingredients. However, when using this program, you have to bear in mind that the pills are not diet supplements and, of course, the results differ from person to person.

The regimen doesn’t promise you miracles; that you’ll lose significant amounts of weight within days or weeks. It only guarantees you that if you carefully follow the instructions given, you will lose weight. Here are some of the benefits that come with using TruVision pills;

• They lower the levels of low-density-lipoprotein, LDL, often referred to as ‘bad cholesterol’ in your body
• TruFix controls your blood glucose levels (that’s your blood sugar levels).
• Both pills boost your energy levels
• They help increase your metabolism rates
• They help you to control your hunger pangs which means you’ll eat less. In turn, this means fewer calories ingested, which helps in managing your weight.

Not so many wellness companies prioritize the health of users when they produce weight loss supplements and other products. Again, many often give unachievable promises. The TruVision Weight Loss program, however, is based on healthy living and while it does not promise to offer you solutions overnight, many clinical studies and many customer reviews have shown that it works if used as instructed. It is, however, important to mention that because we are all different, what works perfectly for one individual may not work as perfectly for another.

How Probiotics Help with Weight Loss

If you’ve ever wandered down the dairy aisle in the store, you will have noticed row after row of these amazing little probiotic or prebiotic drinks, yogurts, and even cheeses. Probiotics are a fantastic addition to the body as they provide you with hundreds of thousands of healthy and friendly bacteria. These bacteria set up home in your stomach and intestines and help regulate the gut environments.

One of the main functions they have is to help food be passed through the digestive tract. This is done when they affect the nerves of the gut, which causes it to contract and relax, much in the same way as filling a balloon with PVA glue and then squeezing it from the top to push it to the bottom.  They also help prevent too many of the unwanted bad bacteria from taking a hold of your body. If you have taken antibiotics or certain medications, your good bacteria may have been killed off completely, if this is the case then probiotics can restore them and help make your gut a friendlier place again.

Probiotics, such as those found in 310 Nutrition’s Superfood juice also help aid with digestion. When food is properly digested, the probiotics assist with making sure that it is properly absorbed. This means that in the long term, your body will receive more nutrition from what you are eating, even if you don’t make any changes to your diet or lifestyle. Probiotics do much more than just improve your gut health though, as they also play a role in almost every area of the body.

When using probiotics on a daily basis, you will notice that your skin improves and looks fresher and healthier. They also help with improving your oral health, clearing up yeast and UTI’s, and boost your immune system, thus preventing colds and infections. You can enjoy a healthy serving of probiotics buy eating yogurt, drinking a fermented milk product, or by using a 310 Nutrition Superfood juice.

Personally, I like the 310 Nutrition juice as it not only comes with probiotics, but also plenty of vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, and fiber. All of these work together to create a healthy internal system, which can also assist with weight loss and weight management. You need good probiotics in your gut to help with the normal functioning of the body.

When good bacteria are lacking, this allows the bad bacteria a chance to proliferate and take over, and this will have plenty of negative effects, ranging from diarrhea, cramps and bloating, skin conditions such as eczema, malnutrition, nausea and sickness. None of these will help with your weight loss journey, nor will they make you feel particularly good. The human body is all about balance, and probiotics very much form a part of this.

We all have bacteria in our guts and intestines, and without them, we would not be able to break down or digest starches and sugars. Many other essential vitamins and minerals would simply pass through the digestive tract and fail to be absorbed, and the overall health of the body would begin to drop rapidly. If you can improve and maintain plenty of good bacteria in your digestive tract then you will be much better at breaking down, absorbing and utilizing the nutrition.

A single glass of 310 Nutrition Superfood juice will provide you with a hefty serving of lactobacillus probiotics, along with a helping of digestive enzymes. When paired together, these two create an intestinal powerhouse, which will result in better food absorption, which is ideal for weight loss and overall health and wellness.

Too much of a good thing can become bad though, so you don’t want to overdo it. The 310 Nutrition Superfood juice will give you just the right amount of probiotics per serving, meaning that you can get on with your day knowing you have adequate good bacteria in your body. The ease that a juice offers is great too. Simply mix a spoonful of juice powder in a glass of water and you are good to go. In a minute or less you will be provided with maximum nutrition with minimum calories, the perfect combination for healthy weight loss.

Shopping Guide: Natural Stretch Mark Treatments

This post contains affiliate links. Thanks for your support!

Pregnant bellies are beautiful, glowing signs of new life. They are also itchy, tight and susceptible to stretch marks and saggy skin post-childbirth. Stretch marks and saggy skin are mostly genetic, and you can’t completely prevent them. However, you can take some steps to minimize their severity. According to the American Pregnancy Organization, drinking lots of water, making certain changes to your diet and exercise are the best ways to minimize stretch marks. The idea is keep your skin supple and elastic while your belly grows.

The use of pregnant belly balms, oils and creams can help keep your skin supple and hydrated. While they won’t stop stretch marks completely, these products can help with the itchiness and tightness. Below is a list of belly balms and creams that are made with natural and organic ingredients. And they are formulated specifically for pregnant women (see my post on what to avoid during pregnancy for more information). Also, check out my article with more information on dealing with other pregnancy ailments.

Want more One Part Sunshine?  Here’s how:

Postpartum weight loss, the good, the bad and the ugly…. – The Elle Scoop!

Postpartum weight loss, the good, the bad and the ugly….

Having a baby can be the most exciting, challenging and scariest thing a woman experiences. The changes your body goes through in order to create a tiny human is remarkable, but why is it difficult to accept those changes:  the weight gain, skin color change and the skin stretching.

THE BAD
A woman’s body can do amazing things during and after pregnancy, but for some reason it is so hard to accept the changes our bodies make (or it’s hard for me to accept). During my pregnancy I started to gain weight rapidly and began having pain that was unimaginable in places that you can imagine. So exercise other than light walking was out of the picture. I was so ashamed of my body. I didn’t want to take pictures or be seen out. I refused to take maternity pictures because I hated the way I looked. Unfortunately, I have some regret now that I didn’t get maternity pictures to document the journey. People would comment on how beautiful I looked or that I had a glow. Unfortunately, I didn’t see it and never saw it.
Fast forward to a 70lb weight gain and giving birth to a 10.5lbs baby via c-section. For some reason, I thought or envisioned my body going back to pre pregnancy soon after birth. Well….it didn’t!

THE UGLY
After I left the hospital reality set in that my body was not the same. It began to effect me mentally and emotionally. Not only had my round baby belly turned to a sagging belly, but I had stretched marks EVERYWHERE. Not to mention I was excruciating pain and still had to take care of a small human. The worst part was trying to find clothes that looked decent. My regular clothes still did not fit and my maternity clothes now looked silly (for lack of better words) due to my sagging belly. Needless to say I spent many days and nights crying, feeling ugly wondering if I would ever love myself again.

THE GOOD
In the midst of all my emotional woes…I realized I had just created a little miracle and the love I felt for him was more intense than anything I’ve ever felt. I realized that he loves me unconditionally. That he would love me with or without my flaws. I realized I wanted to be a better person physically, mentally and emotionally for him.
There are three things that I felt were most important to remember when getting back to a healthy weight:

1) HEALING
Allow your body time to heal after a baby. Regardless if the birth was vaginal or C-section. I was so hell bent on losing weight I started walking 3 weeks after giving birth. It was a major set back! The pain came riveting back and there were days I couldn’t even pick up or carry my baby. Time to heal is important. You don’t gain the weight in a few days so don’t expect the weight to come off in a few days. Slowly get back into your workout and listen to your body.

2) NUTRITION
I can definitely say I was one of those pregnant women that gave in to all my cravings! So after pregnancy I had to be sure to cut back on fats or Carbs, but still eat enough to produce breast milk. I started to pay more attention to what I ate, when and making sure not eat late at night.

3) SELF-LOVE
There are days I look in the mirror and I am brought to tears at the sight of my body, but then I remember my body has created a human. My body has accomplished something so great and not everyone gets to experience that. Then there are days I love myself so much for creating the best gift I have ever had.

MORAL OF THE STORY… love yourself regardless of how you look and you will start to feel better.
In the past 9 weeks I have managed to lose 55 of those 70 pounds with nutrition and light exercise. This experience has been one for the books and something I would never want to change.

The Skinny-Thick Chronicles

Wrinkles while you sleep – Coolsculpting Los Angeles clinic

A recent study showed, that the condition in which you sleep may contribute to the wrinkles on your face. When you lay your face on a pillow, you may be placing it in a position that affects your skin, therefore it causes the skin to stretch, shear, and compression forces on your skin. Lateral sleeping (on your side) and the prone (face down in the pillow) are the positions that are considered to cause wrinkles while you sleep. As we get older we move less while we sleep, this results in a longer amount of time in one position, therein a longer duration of time a wrinkle producing force is being applied to an area of skin.
{The location and orientation of sleep wrinkles are often different than wrinkles caused by facial expression, ( Please see the example below, Common sleep wrinkle locations and orientation marked in black]

And unlike wrinkles caused by facial expression most sleep wrinkles are not improved by Botox. However, sleep wrinkles can be improved by fillers (e.g., Juvederm, Restylane, Belotero), laser resurfacing and face-lifting in some cases.

Got diastasis recti? Your insurance may pay for relief

Almost every brand-new mom still looks pregnant after giving birth — but if your belly is still pooching out months after giving birth, you, like up to 40 percent of all new moms, may have a diastasis recti.

A diastasis recti is caused when the connective tissue gets stretched out between the pair of long, flat muscles that runs vertically down both sides of your abdomen (the rectus abdominis), causing them to separate. The result is a ridge that looks like a loaf of mushy bread protruding from your belly, a ridge that stands out even more when you cough or sit up.

Traditional abdominal exercises like crunches can make a diastatis recti worse, but a physical therapist can guide you on exercises that can improve the condition.

Meanwhile, Fort Worth, Texas ob-gyn Cynthia Robbins, M.D., reminds women that their insurance will generally pay for some type of binder that gives women relief while they’re recovering.

Belly Bandit’s Original is arguably the most popular belly wrap on the market
“I recommend wraps for all postpartum women,” says Dr. Robbins, “particularly if they have diastasis recti. When you have loose muscles separated in the middle, the binding holds them in so they can’t balloon out, and you have a better opportunity to strengthen and being them back together.”

If your doctor thinks a binder or wrap will help you, they can prescribe it just like a medication.

“I have written many prescriptions for durable medical goods so patients can pay for it using their flexible spending account, or their insurance company will reimburse them for it, ” says Dr. Robbins. “In general, any durable medical goods like bands, belts, wraps, splints, casts, crutches, etc. are reimbursable by insurance.”

What you need to show your insurance is a prescription with the CPT or Current Procedural Terminology code [a string of numbers that identifies the item recommended], and a receipt for the item you bought. Dr. Robbins says hospitals often have binders for their patients to take home, but “they’re cheap, can be scratchy, and are one-size-fits-all. In my experience, women do better buying their own and then getting reimbursement from insurance.”

What type of binder do you want? Dr. Robbins says it doesn’t matter how a wrap is constructed, but it should fit around you and compress the front of your belly using either Velcro or eyelet hooks.

The Bellefit Corset uses hooks to keep the pressure on
“It should give a firm compression to put your muscles, bones, and ligaments in place,” says Dr. Robbins, who cautions that the wraps won’t “shrink” your belly, or make you lose weight, but they will “bind everything back the way it was so women can start resuming normal activity.”

Dr. Robbins also cautions women to stop using wraps after about three months.

“You just want to stabilize the body so you can exercise and otherwise move around normally,” she says. “The binder should just be used for three months postpartum to ensure your hipbones and pubic bones don’t shift out and your muscles still contract the same instead of ballooning out.”

Of course, it should go without saying that your postpartum body will be different than prepartum — and that you should bring your concerns to your doctor, who can help.

Khloe Kardashian’s fears about her pregnant belly button are so relatable

Whether you’ve been pregnant before or you’re sporting your first-ever bump, chances are you’ve experienced some level of anxiety about your body. Will I get stretch marks? How will I manage to shed all of this baby weight? Will my belly button ever be the same?

If it makes you feel any better, even celebrities worry about these things — including Khloé Kardashian.

If you’re not a “Keeping Up with The Kardashians” fan, allow me to fill you in. Khloé Kardashian, the third-eldest of the Kardashian/Jenner clan, recently confirmed she is pregnant with her first child. This huge revelation followed months of speculation by celebrity gossip publications, mainstream media and social media followers alike.

“I have such a phobia with belly buttons and I know when you’re really pregnant your innie will become and outie. Oh my God I can’t even think about that. I’m so grossed out by that,” Kardashian recently vented on Snapchat, according to Us Weekly. After followers came forward to share their experiences (and assured the mom-to-be that her fears were completely normal, the reality star/fashion mogul also took to Twitter,

“I was absolutely massive and had a 10lb baby and my belly button didn’t even ‘pop’ stayed pretty much the same,” one Twitter user wrote.

“My innie just went flat never popped out,” another person commented.

“Here’s a pic of me at 40 weeks. You can barely tell it was poppin’ and if it does just tape it down,” yet another mom tweeted.

“But if it does pop out, it’ll go back!” another follower reassured.

Well, not exactly. If you suffer from something called diastatis recti — when the rectus abdominis muscles in your abdomen separate during pregnancy, leaving a gap that allows your belly to pooch out — your innie could remain an outie for quite some time after delivery. Plus, there’s another pesky pregnancy-related issue called an umbilical hernia that could result in a perpetual outie. (See below photo of me, 39 weeks pregnant with baby number three.)

My belly button absolutely popped with all three of my babies — and sooner with each pregnancy, at that. (This was probably because my first pregnancy ended up giving me an umbilical hernia. My doctor said it can be surgically repaired after I’m done having children.)

I can’t say I was ever all that worried about my weird-looking belly button. Instead, I was more concerned about the dreaded stretch marks. (For the record, my belly button returned to its normal-ish innie form a few months after childbirth, and I walked away with only a few stretch marks around my navel.)

Still, I can totally relate to Kardashian’s anxieties. Who knows? Maybe we’re not so different after all.

12 Foods That Will Make Your Skin Glow

Acne and other skin conditions can really affect a person’s confidence, especially when you don’t know what could be causing it. There are several factors that can contribute to skin issues such as; stress, the food you consume or don’t consume, pollution, mould and/ or chemical exposure, gut dysbiosis, parasites, inflammation, toxins and much more.

While the underlying causes of skin conditions are different for each person, there’s one common denominator for everyone, and that’s your diet.

All the food you eat either has the potential to improve the health of your skin or cause damage.

For example, fruits and veggies rich in antioxidants aid in the production of collagen (the protein that keeps skin healthy, smooth and supple), and helps your liver detoxify more efficiently to prevent skin breakouts. Whereas, consuming refined processed foods full of vegetable oils and refined sugar breaks down collagen by cross-linking with other collagen fibres through a process known as glycation, which is known to form molecules that contribute to skin ageing and other skin issues.

12 nourishing foods that can really help to improve your skin health and leave your skin glowing!

  1. Pumpkin/ Pepita Seeds
These seeds are packed with vitamin E, zinc and magnesium; these tiny seeds keep your skin glowing. They promote a strong regeneration of skin cells and are filled with protein and good quality fats. They are a perfect addition to trail mixes, or just eat them as a snack or add it to this yummy Beetroot Salad for some crunch.
  2. Avocado
Are packed with essential fatty acids, vitamin E and antioxidants and fibre. Avocados should be a staple in any diet aiming for great skin. The ‘good fats’ are great for the health and hydration of cell membranes. These membranes are the gatekeeper of your skin cells – they let the good stuff in and keep the toxins out. Try a whole avocado in a salad or with a can of lemon tuna for a quick office lunch, I’ll often add them to my smoothies to add creaminess and ‘bulk’ or you can’t go past a good guacamole either.
  3. Cacao
Is filled with antioxidants, it increases blood circulation around the body for up to 2 hours – this means an instant glow ladies! When blood circulates at an optimum level, all skin cells are being nourished and remaining vital. I enjoy my cacao as an ingredient in slices, pannacotta, cakes, pancakes or hot chocolate. Cacao makes for a lovely afternoon pick-me-up.
  4. Gelatin
Consuming more gelatin in our diets is a smart natural skin care approach. The reason for this is that gelatin has skin healing properties due to its rich source of collagen. Collagen is considered one of the building blocks for skin, it helps with skin elasticity, reduces skin roughness, ageing, wrinkles, stretch marks and helps protect you from free radical damage. Cellulite is caused by a breakdown or loss of collagen. Gelatin also helps prevent stretch marks by improving the skins strength, elasticity, tone and firmness. We have so many delicious recipes that use gelatin on our website, here are a few of our favourites; Turmeric & Honey Chia Jelly Squares, Raspberry Jelly and Vitamin c gummies
  5. Green Tea
Green tea is full of antioxidants and catechins, which have disease preventing properties, protect against sunburn, inflammation and long-term UV radiation damage. Some studies have shown that just 2 cups of green tea per day provides additional sun protection. Iced green tea with added fruits for flavour may just be a great option to sip on throughout the warmer summer months.
  6. Citrus Fruits & Camu Camu
Citrus fruits such as lemon, lime, orange, mandarin, grapefruit and our Camu Camu Powder are all rich sources of Vitamin C. Citrus fruits contain a component called ‘limonene’ which has been associated with lowering skin cancer risks by 34%. Citrus fruits and Camu Camu Powder are also rich in antioxidants that protect the cells from free-radical damage which happens during sunburn. I love adding the Camu Camu powder to smoothies, raw slices, bliss balls and Gummies.
  7. Omega 3 Fatty Acids
Salmon, Changing Habits Inca Inchi Oil and seeds, walnuts, chia seeds and other fresh fatty seafood are all great sources of Omega 3 Fatty Acids. Omega 3’s are highly anti-inflammatory as well as protect us from free-radical damage that can be caused by the sun. An easy way to increase your Omega 3 consumption in the diet is to consume this delicious 4 Ingredient Mayonnaise using the Inca Inchi Oil. It can be added to salads, meat, poached eggs or made into aioli and other delicious dips.
  8. Turmeric
Turmeric is a game-changer when it comes to the health of your skin. That’s because turmeric’s active antioxidant, curcumin, has shown to be one of the most effective anti-inflammatories and free-radical fighting options out there, and it can also be used to lighten dark pigmentation blotches or scars caused by aging, hormone imbalance, or sun exposure by inhibiting an enzyme in the skin that produces pigment. How amazing is that!
  9. Coconut
Is full of muscle-relaxing potassium and electrolytes to replenish and rehydrate your skin, making it softer and younger looking. And when you move onto the coconut meat and extract its oils, you can utilise it to heal your gut. That’s because coconut oil contains a potent antimicrobial, caprylic acid, which can help improve gut health by destroying bad bacteria and candida.
